Ring in the Christmas Season with the Greensburg Holiday Parade!
We are back...and excited to once again participate in this time-honored holiday tradition.
The Central Westmoreland Service Unit of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania will be walking in the Greensburg Holiday Parade to represent all our Girl Scout sisters, and we want you to join us! This community celebration is open to all Girl Scouts - regardless of service area.
Date: Saturday, November 20, 2021
Time: The parade steps off at Noon; we would like all participants to meet us at our staging location by 11:30 a.m.
Location: Staging location #32 (on Main Street in front of Greensburg Salem Middle School, across from the Cathedral and Aquinas Academy)...look for Denise & John Martz and their black pick-up truck which will be decked out with Girl Scout signage.
Who: All area Girl Scouts; Troop leaders should ensure at least two unrelated adults walk with their troop. At least one parent of indie girls should walk with their girl(s).
What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear your Girl Scout vest, sash, or smock (on top of your jacket/outerwear, and a holiday hat or head band (example: Santa hat, reindeer antler head band, etc.)
